Offering Alternative Dog Care Since 1998
Gone to the Dogs was developed with a better way in mind. As life long dog owners, we were fed up with subpar dog care- and we knew we weren’t alone! So we stirred up a community of people who expect a lot more out of the industry they entrust to care for their dogs.
Dog’s are integral parts of our families. Our mission is to equip dog owners to holistically care for their companions through providing high quality, humane dog products and services.
DOG PEOPLE CARING FOR DOGS
We created this place to celebrate the bond between human and dog. Our dog salons and daycare centers provide safe, consistent, and customized are so you have the opportunity to enrich the life of your canine companion. All our staff agree- it’s rewarding work and we’re in it for the long haul.
Our team was brought together by a natural love for dogs, excellence, efficiency, and a never ending pursuit of perfecting their craft. The result? A family environment of highly skilled employees who love their jobs.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Safety is our #1 priority. We know our facilities cannot be a comfortable space for dogs and people without proper health and safety protocols. From day one our staff is trained to adhere to the safety guidelines enforced at all our facilities.
Our salon assigns a staff member daily to uphold corporate standards and keep each facility up to date with cleanliness and consistency. Each facility is not only thoroughly cleaned twice a day but also equipped with state of the art HVAC systems designed for maximum air flow to minimize the risk of kennel cough and other airborne illnesses. In addition to a thorough admittance process, we use cage drying and double loop every dog in our salon to ensure the absolute safety of your pet. Our dogs are never integrated but are kept in regularly disinfected individual holding cages while awaiting grooming.
In order to minimize the number of people in our facility we ask our human customers to remain outside during drop-off and pickup. All our staff wear masks and maintain social distance as much as possible, in addition to thoroughly sanitizing our facility throughout the day. We will continue to follow state guidelines and CDC recommendations to prioritize your health as well as our own.
